Ibiza airport is the international airport for the Balearic Islands of Ibiza and Formentera, officially known as “Aeroport d’Eivissa” in Catalan. It is located in the southwest of Ibiza Island and about 7 km southwest of Ibiza city center. The Airport has started during the Spanish Civil War as a temporary military airport. In 1958, it was reopened with the quickly development of the touristic market of the Balearic Islands, and in late 90’s it has started serving more than 3 million passengers per year. Palma de Mallorca Airport 

Palma Airport or Palma de Mallorca Airport also known as Son Sant Joan Airport which is located 8 kilometers east of Palma Majorca, it is the third largest airport in Spain after Madrid and Barcelona Airports. It is considered a busy airport having handled over 21 million passengers in 2009. As a base it is used by the Spanish carrier Air Europa and German carrier Air Berlin.
