The Tbilisi International Airport is the leading international airport in Georgia and is located 17 km far from the capital Tbilisi. The TIA is also known as the ‘Novo Alexeyevka International Airport’. The history of the airport is dated back to 1952, when the first terminal building was constructed under the direction of V.
