Bremen Airport
Bremen Airport is the international airport of the city of Bremen. Based on the number of passengers, the airport is ranked twelfth in Germany in 2015, in terms of freight in fifteenth place. It is located 3.5 kilometers south of the city center in the district of Neuenland Bremer Neustadt. The extreme western part (about 600 m) including the end of the runway 27 is located in the area of Lower Saxony. Due to its proximity to the city center, it was marketed as "City Airport Bremen". The airport can be reached via the A1, A 27, A 281 motorways and the B6 and B75 federal highways. Bremen Airport has three terminal buildings. The southernmost, a curve forming main building was created from 1991 to 1998 to plans by Gert Schulze. Here is the main terminal 1, consisting of the former terminals 1, 2 and 3 (until 2018), with five passenger boarding bridges. All airlines are processed here; The only exception is Ryanair, which rebuilt a former cargo terminal north to Terminal 2 (until 2018 Terminal E). In addition, there was the General Aviation Terminal (GAT) for general aviation. The airport has 4500 parking spaces, of which 2550 in parking garage 1 and 1950 in parking garage 2.

Carsharing at Bremen Airport
Car sharing in Bremen has become an important part of the city. So far, two of Germany's largest car sharing providers have their own stations in Bremen. Cambio is by far the largest provider in Bremen and Bremerhaven and operates about 90 fixed stations with over 300 vehicles in the city. Flinkster, the car-sharing service of Deutsche Bahn, is represented by two stations in the city (including the central station). Both providers are represented in many large cities throughout Germany.

The airport taxi rank is outside the main terminal complex. For a ride from the airport to the center or Bremen main station, a fare of around fifteen euros is required. A driving time of about 20 minutes must be calculated.
