Ibiza airport is the international airport for the Balearic Islands of Ibiza and Formentera, officially known as “Aeroport d’Eivissa” in Catalan. It is located in the southwest of Ibiza Island and about 7 km southwest of Ibiza city center. The Airport has started during the Spanish Civil War as a temporary military airport.
