Bonn/Hangelar Airport

The airfield Bonn / Hangelar is a German airfield in the Sankt Augustin district Hangelar, located in the south of North Rhine-Westphalia. First flight tests in the Hangelarer Heide were already in 1909, in both world wars Hangelar was used as a military airfield. The airfield is located about six kilometers northeast of Bonn. The ADAC Luftfahrt Technik GmbH operates there an integrated training center for air rescue.
