Berlin-Tempelhof Airport was one of the first commercial airports in Germany along with the Berlin airports Johannisthal and Staaken and in 1923 started regular service. It was until its closure on 30 October 2008, Berlin-Tegel and Berlin-Schönefeld one of three international airports in the Greater Berlin and was called the central airport. In 2007, around 350,000 passengers were handled there. Since 2010, the former airport site is designated by the state of Berlin and its companies with the project name Tempelhofer Freiheit and is open to the public. Lübeck Airport
The commercial airport Lübeck is a regional airport in Schleswig-Holstein. The runway is 2102 meters long. The airport has ICAO category seven fire-fighting, high-performance firing and is equipped with landing direction 25 for ILS CAT I all-weather instrument landing and 07 CAT II landing. An airport fire brigade with ambulance is ready at the airport, as required for airports of this size. The airport is located eight kilometers south of downtown Lübeck.

by train: to Lübeck central station, then with the regional express 83 direction Lüneburg to the breakpoint Lübeck airport; hourly connections to Lübeck Hbf, Büchen and Lüneburg, every 2 hours direct trips to Kiel (about 300 meters to the terminal)
